smartmachine offers THE flexible platform for active, bi-directional communication. Open interfaces and the latest standardised technology enable a speedy link-up with all types of CRM-, e-marketing, newsletter systems and other appliances administering customer data. Target addresses or telephone numbers can be drawn from an existing customer database (‘push’ method), or the customer orders the content (i.e. a ticket) via a web shop, call centre or ticket office (‘pull’ method). Keyword mechanisms enabling the transmission of a text to a short code increase the degree of immediacy of interaction with the customer.
This method also allows customers not registered in a database to call up information on products, events, special offers on their mobiles and to register or ‘opt-in’ for further information. This can be done by applying for short codes via the placement of so-called ‘mobile tags’; 2-dimensional barcodes in newspapers, magazines and public places that can be photographed and read by the mobile phone’s camera, which then log into a mobile website. This, and the posting of mobile tickets or vouchers, ensures an ongoing dialogue is established with the consumer.
To ensure the availability of goods for vouchers and discount offers the system can also be linked up with ERP and merchandise managements systems.
The redemption or verification of vouchers can be done through a self-service terminal such as the smart TST.
Our new Mobile Messaging Center is a web-based platform for temporary or permanent use for all event organizers, promotion agencies, retailers etc. who want to run campaigns on the mobile channel, sending text messages, barcode tickets and/or vouchers and other content to an existing pool of phone numbers. It is fully integrated with smartVS.
