Mobile Ticketing for o2 Crew Events

 

For the fifth consecutive year, smartmachine provides guaranteed access to exclusive client events via the mobile phone - in more German cities than ever before.


An innovative community concept, more venues than ever before – and Mobile Ticketing as core component of visitor management: As in the years before, Telefónica O2 Germany is on the leading edge when it comes to organising client events: Stuttgart and Dusseldorf are additional host cities, as well as the O2 World arenas in the capital Berlin and in Hamburg. The registration for the event is done online, the hand-picked locations for music & dance events, comedy performance and cinema premiers are top level. smartmachine is providing the delivery of tickets to the winners of the promotions and the validation on-site.

After successful registration at the O2 Crew platform and the allocation of tickets these are sent via the smartmachine system by means of a MMS. The validation is done by the "smart Validation System“(smartVS), a mobile and user-friendly hard- and software solution, allowing for a complete access control via GPRS data connection to the centrally hosted event server. Additional features especially for O2: an optical signal at the ticket check indicates if the guest arriving is a client of the own network. An online interface to the O2 Crew registration portal allows running direct marketing campaigns on site.

At the O2 World in Berlin and Hamburg we furthermore have locations where the Mobile Tickets are exchanged to a printed one.
